Welcome to the 2008 edition of getting to know your Friends.

1. What time did you get up this morning? First at around 2am, up until 4, asleep again until 5:45 when I got a nice wake-up call.

2. Diamonds or pearls? Neither.

3. What was the last film you saw at the cinema? Juno at the Neptune.

4. What is your favorite TV show? Right now, I'm working my way through all of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Meow.

5. What do you usually have for breakfast? Oatmeal, or wheat english muffins, or yogurt. Sometimes, if I'm hormonal, it's all three plus an egg.

6. What is your middle name? Like Debby, I don't have one. Pre-1994, it was Marie.

7. What food do you dislike? Oh, I'll jump on the liver bandwagon. Looks bad, smells bad, tastes bad. It's a no-win situation.

8. What is your favorite CD at the moment? The Buddha Lounge series.

9. What kind of car do you drive? 2000 Subaru Outback, burgundy, goes by the name Gracie.

10. What is your favorite item of clothing? My very old Levis 501s, the vintage ones that you can't get anymore, that I've patched a number of times.

11. If you could go anywhere in the world on vacation: I couldn't choose just one place.

12. What color is your bathroom? White, white and white. Oh, some little blue hexagonal accent tiles, about 20 of them. Otherwise white.

13. Favorite brand of clothing? Not certain.

14. Where would you retire to? Seattle is good, Cascade Mountains, Leavenworth area, Oregon Coast.

15. What was your most recent memorable birthday? 40 - big party, 12 hours long, with nary a hitch in sight.

16. Favorite sport(s) to watch? uneven parallel bars, swimming/diving.

17. Furthest place you are sending this? No idea.

18. Who do you least expect to send this back to you? Don't know, don't care.

19. Person you expect to send it back first? Me! (Scout - Debby was right!)

20. Favorite saying? Fie dallah, sucky sucky. (just kidding, but I couldn't think of anything.)

22. Are you a morning person or a night person? Morning.

23. What is your shoe size? 7.5 or 8, depending on the shoe, the time of the month, and the arrival time of the NY to DC express train on February 29th of the previous leap year.

24. Pets? Two cats.

25. Any new and exciting news you'd like to share with us? I have a cold and I'm sitting at the computer all day doing almost nothing. In my life, that's news. The hamsters are almost silent.

26. What did you want to be when you were little? An archeologist, Lt. Uhura, and a Native American living off the land.

27. How are you today??? Sick with a cold/body aches/etc.

l28. What is your favorite candy? Cadbury Caramello.

29. What is your favorite flower? Deep-blue irises, the ones that are lean and have the shocking yellow near the center.

30. What is a day on the calendar you are looking forward to? The day I'm done with my cold. I'm cranky.

31. What church do you attend? I don't.

32. What is your full name? Oh yeah, I'm falling for that one.

33. What are you listening to right now? Boston Legal, background noise.

34. What was the last thing you ate? Homemade bean and cheese burrito with my homemade cilantro and chipotle sauce.

35. Do you wish on stars? No.

36. If you were a crayon, what color would you be? Crayola Cornflower blue.

37. How is the weather right now? Clear, cold and dark.

38. Last person you spoke to on the phone? Bernie.

39. Favorite soft drink? Pepsi, no ice. Cool but not freezing cold.

40. Favorite restaurant? Le Le, maybe.

41. Hair color? Brown with gray streaks

43. Favorite day of the year? Labor Day.

44. What was your favorite toy as a child? Red teddy.

45. Summer or winter? Summer.

46. Hugs or kisses? Both. I refuse to choose between them.

47. Coffee or tea? Girl Grey tea.

49. Do you want your friends to e-mail you this back? I will leave that up to forces outside myself. No investment either way.

50. When was the last time you cried? When I had to cough in the middle of the night, and it made my low back hurt so badly, as if I'd been stabbed. The low back thing was already there, and when I cough, the muscles do protest.

51. Who is the friend you have had the longest? Not sure. I know that's lame, but I'm really not sure. Dexter and Debby have both been around for a darn long time, I suppose.

52. What did you do last night? Went to bed early and woke up very sick.

53. What are you afraid of? having to move because I run out of money.

54. Salty or sweet? Both.

55. How many keys on your key ring? Six. House, car, post office box, Cajun's house, Donkee's house and I think there is one more I'm forgetting.

56. How many years at your current job? None! I don't have a job! Yay!

57. How many towns have you lived in? Let's see: Seattle, Tacoma, Vashon, Bellingham, Edmonds, Lake Stevens (this begins to get depressing), Lincoln NE.
