Ok, I admit it... The pool beat me. But I won the last battle.
I drained the money pit. It is refilling as I type. I did a little math, and for anyone who knows me, that is no small task! It should take 4 days to fill the pool. We have well water that runs through a softening system, so I can't let it fill continiously. 3 hours on, 2 hours off. The the water will be really cold for a week or so. But it will be clear! My mom is sending an automatic vacuum, so even if the water is to cold for humans, it won't be to cold for robot vacuums. I have to work 24 hours tomorrow, but I Jodi can handle turning the water on and off. When I get home Friday, (ummm, more math) the pool will be a little less than half full! Oh well, No one would have been able to swim if I hadn't drained it anyway.
