So, I'm having trouble bringing the screen into focus at this point, but we've gotten almost all of our dishes out of boxes tonight, plus filed a good portion of the current paperwork for 2001. My fingers are swollen, my back is like a bunch of legos, but the house is at least better organized for our first ginea pig, I mean house guest, guru's sister. She's apparently in town tonight, by the way his folks are calling and aiming us. (I'm prudently ignoring the window to the left of this browser)
All in all, I'm really happy because we've unpacked all that glassware / earthware we have that has been hidden in boxes since Boyleston. I even unpacked my great aunt's bone china. For the first time in our lives, we have a china cabinet with glass doors and everything. *sigh* On a side rant, I think that christmas should be beaten down with a stick until it is dead. We have so much holiday crap it is insane. I think we should dump it all in a pile out in the front yard and burn it. I never really hated the holidays until I got christmas towels. Multiple times.
