Well - 3 projects, 2 internships, 1 display project and 0 money later, I think I'm done. I think I'm actually starting to believe it too. Its not the proverbial "wieght off shoulders" kind of belief, but i think I can now begin to look forward to the future. Start tackling the problem of motivation. Its been a while since I worked outside of a structured environment - espcially one that was not air-conditioned, had a decent workstation, or coworkers. It's...odd. I think I will actually go into the school more then needed just to be able to get away from the house.

As expected, the beautiful house is hot as hell in summer - with only 2 windows that would support our ac unit. (the kitchen or the bathroom, take your pick) On top of that, the critters have been getting more bold, which always impresses guests. (mizu and yaga have been very flexible) The landlords are probably going to replace most of the original leadlined windows for new windows, though one of the reasons we got the house was because of them. Worse of two evils really. I want to go ahead and buy an additional unit so we could cool the whole place, but that will require money.

Speaking of money, the work situation has been about the only thing that has been going along well. It looks like I will be taking both "internships" but only getting credit for 1. I'm in the process of enrolling for the BA in GR too - based on a meeting I got to sit in on with Graphic Designers from the area. What became apparent in the meeting is that placement is down, and that 4 years of design is better than 2. The longer I can stay out of the job market, the better my chances.

Haven't really spoken to anyone outside the house in about 2 weeks. I bascially have just been bouncing between school and the chiropractor - not even getting out to church on sunday. While we were away - our rector announced that he is going to be taking ajob teaching in wisconsin and will be leaving in july. I can't be too upset about this since its a great opportunty for him. If he is meant to be back here, he will be. Its not like there is nothing to draw him back. But it means that the parishes (west and east) will be in the search process for the next year. Lots of changes all at once.
