So - after much anticipation - Nate J. was born June 20 around 8 PM, right around 8 lbs, after about 13 hours of labor - 5 of which were in the hospital. Both mom and baby (and big brother and dad) are doing really well - Tar was looking last night almost relieved. Apparently the labor went so smoothly that she didn't even get a chance to get the drugs she asked for. I told her to order them earlier next time.

We got a chance to meet Nate last night about 2 hours after he was born - boy does that kid have some lungs! Ike kept covering his ears when Nate woke up. We were kid-sitting while Tar and Rich were in the hospital.

Everyone should be released Sat. I think we are going to visit tonight too. Not really sure what to give them since they seem to be well on top of this baby thing.
