this, sadly, isn't that hard to do. PENDot insists that all main roads be surrounded by concrete on as many sides as possible. Guru and I joke that PA drivers feel something akin to agoraphobia when not surrounded by cement barriers. They also never take down a road sign - ever. There are still signs up from the 1950's. I think they are probably landmarks now. The strange thing is that no traffic laws are actually followed here - but there is strict observence of the "unwritten" rules of the road, such as the first person in a left turn lane has the right of way when the light changes - - but only the first one. *sadnesses* Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
