Definitely a blah day--both from the weather standpoint and the personal standpoint. Weather was on the coolish side this morning, degenerating to rainy this afternoon and evening. I had been sort of planning to spread a little more rye seed on brown areas of the yard but the rain started before my energy level got up there.

This was a no human contact day, unless you count pictures on the TV. I had no pressing needs that called for going out, so I didn't. I cleaned cat boxes, took a nap, and read a bit. I also wrote up a short bit about my adventures in Africa after I left the team to send on to a couple of people.

I did not get around to writing up my 2005 summary to send off to the once-a-year people who sent cards. Maybe this evening, if the TV is sufficiently boring and I don't feel like reading about the Chinese voyages of exploration in 1421.

Oh yeah--I ordered a John McPhee book about California's geologic construction that I want to read and then send on to a California friend.

Otherwise, a blah day.
