That describes my office room. YD and husband (and child) just left after bringing and installing a new window unit.

I stayed out of their way and tried to keep Anna out of their way also. Good thing I have some toys in the house. Fabian showed a great deal of intelligence and observed her from the counter--well out of reach, although since she has a cat at home I'm sure that cat has taught her proper manners. CC went and hid. She's still shy around people at first.

Oh yeah--the phone man arrived (even though it is Sunday) and found the problem--a gouge in the line running across the street. It's all fixed now. For a while he thought the problem might be in the underground line, in which case he would have strung a replacement line.

It's early enough that I may go to PJs for a while. When I'm there I do essentially nothing but read/study/write--and drink coffee. If I stay home I keep seeing things that ought to be done. I'd much rather read/study/write than vacuum.

But once again I have a cool spot in the house.
