There are some very noisy clouds moving into this area. 25 lb. Fabian is waaaay back under the couch. I'm not sure where CC is. Lady (she's inside, so she's not BAdCat) is just sitting around as though she's wondering what the other cats are worried about.

The rain of the last few days is so welcome. The annual rainfall here is somewhere between 60 and 70 inches. And there was less than 20 in the first six months. Of course, the weeds are going to take off, not to mention the mosquitoes.

Got my back stabbed again today. This time my toes were not numb, nor was a certain other muscle. Probably the spare shorts and drawers that I brought along prevented the problem. All vestiges of sciatic pain are gone. Let's hope it stays gone a good long while.

Spending the afternoon at the hospital didn't leave me much time for doing anything else of significance. And I realized that I had no relatively short mind candy books to take along, so I grabbed the latest Analog. I think I've read all the stoies in it now, except for the serial installment.

Not an IUD, but a Somewhat UD.
