My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

So far, I have done nothing today except read a book. But time spent reading is never time wasted.

And while reading I "got" my twenty-seven.

The book was Lillian Braun's The Cat Who Dropped a Bombshell. I spotted it last evening in Walgreen's, and even though I got five books for christmas, I couldn't resist. (Its publication date is January 2007!)

Those of you who are familiar with the series know about the amazing psychic powers of Koko. Well, as I was reading this book my Calico Cutie (who has a bunch of Siamese in her) kept running in to talk to me quite seriously about every twenty-seven minutes. The whole time I was reading. Was it coincidence that I was reading about talkative cats?

And as soon as I had finished the book, the talkative visits ended.

Now that half the day has been blown reading, I suppose I should do something more around the house.
