I've spent three days sorting the various pictures Mona took and getting them into archival-type jackets. These picture pages fill almost half a storage box.

Generally, Mona identified and dated her pictures. There is a set of a trip through Mexico that made me feel almost as if I had been along. However, in later years she wasn't quite as vigilant. And, she wasn't travelling. There are many pictures of her pets and her friends. But not all have names. I can recognize Scat and Little Arrful Annie (the dogs) and some of the cats, but not the various people who sometimes appear in the pictures.

And while I was doing this I was thinking about the boxes of pictures from my childhood and youthhood that are in some boxes that I think are in the spare room closet--and only I know what is what. And I probably don't remember some of the what and most likely very little of the who.

This morning there was a pretty little orange cat out on the patio. And it was there again when I got home this evening. Lady didn't try to chase it away--maybe they're becoming playmates. Next time I see my neighbor I'll have to ask her if it's hers. I can see a collar on it, but I haven't tried to pet it and check out the collar.

Tomorrow is supposed to be yucky and rainy. Today was borderline yucky, and at least it wasn't rainy (or drizzly) when I was outside. Maybe I'll get lucky tomorrow also.
