Still no sign of Leo, but a new cat was checking out the snack tray this afternoon.

And last night a couple of dogs nosed off the lid to the metal trash can where I store the food. I saw a couple of tooth marks on the bag this morning, but it wasn't all torn up or anything. Add "bungee cord" to the list for my next WalMart trek. The sound of metal crashing onto the cement patio is not conducive to sleep.

I continued working on the about a dozen boxes rescued from the flood. I'll get to meet the "owner" of all these political records--the center director said she was going to talk to her (the director's) class later this spring.

In the afternoon the library was anything but quiet. Three or four of the (female) student workers were all around one of the big tables putting library jackets on a large batch of cookbooks. And chattering like it was a quilting bee or something. It was a really nice kind of background noise.

I don't need to make a to-do list for this weekend--I'll just use last weekend's.
