Offhand, I can't think of anything.
Reading, of course, and since I spent about three hours at PJ's nursing a coffee and two fresh-from-the-oven chocolate chip cookies while reading Zoya's Story (the whole book!) it doesn't count as time wasted. (Subtitle for this book is "An Afghan Woman's Struggle for Freedom.") Actually, it is about this woman's life as a child during the Russian war and subsequent occupation, and the ultimate Taliban domination. This morning I did a bit of tidying up in the den while I watched a rerun of Arthur Schlesinger Jr. on BookSpan. And then I got involved in Zoya's Story. When I left for erranding etc. there were two long-haired cats hanging around--the stumpy and one of the black ones. I put out some dry food for BadCat to snack on. (I wonder why the neighborhood cats keep coming here.) And that's about it. A day spent reading is never a day wasted. Read/Post Comments (2) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
