Another billiantly imaginative title!

I had a routine dr. appointment at 4 PM today, so that left me a lot of time to either do--or invent valid excuses not to do--stuff.

I settled for outdoor stuff, timing it beautifully so that just as I was getting tired of trying to pull up dewberries it began to drizzle. Saved by the rain!

Routine appointment--got fresh prescriptions for the blood pressure stuff and the papers for mammogram and bone density tests. Actually, it was also time for female stuff, but with a 4 PM appointment neither of us was in the mood for that. I will make sure my next apointment is in the morning.

And then I headed up to good old WalMart. This morning my kitchen trash receptacle (can't call it a can cuz it's plastic) lost its ability to keep a lid on. (Cheap goods--I've had this one only about ten years or so.) While at WalMart I also picked up more light bulbs for the bathroom and some bungee cords. I'll use one of those on the metal trash can that holds the dry food for outdoor snacking. One night something knocked it over and tore into the stuff inside. A bungee cord should take care of that.

Serendipity exists. I was rewarded for my tidying activities of a few days ago when I tried to clear out the crate. Among other things, I found a Sherry Tepper novel that I hadn't read!

The weather-guessers say it will rain the next three days. We'll have to see how accurate they are.
