Friday, and I have a four day weekend ahead. The weather forecast is gorgeous--the kind of weather that convinces (or tempts) snowbirds to move south. I should be able to get more of the weeding done. And (buy and) plant some more azaleas.
At the moment, I can't find the termites at work. A week or so ago I had a folder about Formosan termites (they are incredibly destructive little critters) and today I came across some more about them. Well, when I get all the inventories typed up I'll find them and put them all in the same folder. I did, however, come across an extremely interesting little biography of a local music teacher. She taught band at a local high school for years, and trained her students in a lot more than just marching. Several local jazz well-knowns credit her training with their success. (Naturally, I can't recall her name offhand.) I'm currently reading light mystery by an author who is new to me, although she has written about a book a year for several years. I'm sure I'll be finished with the book by tomorrow evening. A little black and white cat came bounding down the driveway as I arrived this evening. I'm just waiting till she decides to be lazy and hitch a ride up the driveway. And I absolutely MUST get my car washed tomorrow! Read/Post Comments (1) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
