CC has discovered that each year birds nest on top of the window air conditioner. There's an awning over it, so it's nice and sheltered.

CC heard the chirping, then tiptoed over to the AC, slowly stood up on her hind legs, and took a good long look. And then a bird came over to the window and looked straight at her.

I'll bet she's in this room a lot more--and sitting on the part of the AC the protudes into the room.
