I chose this color scheme because it's sort of like flowers bursting into bloom. Of course, if you are readdng this in any month other than April 2007 it will probably not be this color.

My body is going to have no trouble whatsoever going to sleep tonight. I'll be lucky if I don't doze off watching TV.

Why? the usual--pulling weeds. The dewberries are now setting berries, so their location is not quite as obvious as when they were in bloom. I've also noticed the blackberry bushes blooming. Those will get a year's reprieve. I am flat out not going to have the energy to pull them up this year--not after trying to get all the dewberries out of my side yard. Once again, though, I can see where I was working today, and that will give me the enrgy to keep on going at it.

Probably not tomorrow--I've got appointments for the boob smash and the scan to see how my bones are deteriorating (dexa-scan). That will take up my entire morning. I'll "dine" at Arby's for lunch--it's just beyond the look-inside place.

After my post-weeding shower I noticed that tub was draining a bit slowly. I poked around with the afghan hook (great for snagging drain-hair) and got some stuff up. Then I discovered that I was out of anything remotely resembling drain cleaner, so I headed out.

My plan was to have supper at Arby's, but they had a line coming out the door. And there was a big tour bus parked in the adjacent parking lot. (The fast-foodery that used to be there isn't any more.) Cancel that idea--so I just went to Walgreen's to get the stuff I needed.

And, I poured a bunch of the drain cleaner down the drain, in hopes that that will take care of any problems. If it doesn't at least I know a plumber now.

But, I am SO tired.

(The name of this color scheme is "watermelon.)
