Why else would Fabian be on top of the CPU facing the wall--meaning his backside is closet to me.
Perhaps becauuse I wouldn't let him on the computer table where he was trying to sit on the modem? Oh well--I can reach his midsection and scritch that. This morning was really great!! I'd responded on Freecycle to a request for a pool filter, explaining that it was for a pool significantly larger than an above-ground. That didn't matter to the guy. He came by this morning and will take it. That wasn't the really great part--he's a contractor. I asked him if he had any itinerant carpenters who might be interested in doing work for me--$20/hr, cash. I showed him a couple of the things, such as the wall panelling whose 43 year old glue is giving way. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he'll find someone interested a bit of extra money. I did say that since I don't speak Spanish the carpenter has to speak English. So cross fingers, folks. Summer must be almost on us--I switched to iced coffee at PJ's. While there I started reading the latest "Kitty" book. Kitty is a werewolf and late-night disk jockey. These books are fun reads. So far in the book her lawyer has become a werewolf. She's told him she's the alpha female and he is her pack. And I'm not even a quarter of the way through the book. I'm not real excited about Fabian not being head first on the CPU. When he is in that mode I don't have to look at what I might be scritching when I reach a hand down. So much for day 1 of a four-day weekend.
