It's not officially summer for anothertwo weeks, but the signs of its approach are all around.

The flashing lights at the school zones are off. There are still a few school buses around, but not like during non-summer.

And a morning shower today upped the humidity by a large bunch.

Other than that, it was a regular day. I realized that it was time to do laundry--even the dryer didn't have any clean undies left. One load of wash done so far. I shall probably do the dark load this evening.

Lady stayed inside all day. She also slept with me most of the night, curled up on one of my hips. It's really quite cozy and comfortable.

During the night I heard sounds of something eating the dry cat food in the ice chest.

Today Fabian moved to the bathtub to keep cool. (The tub was dry.)

Oh yes--and when I went out I wore my sandals without socks--just my polished toenails.

And how come a spoiled rich brat isn't made to pay the price for her reckless disregard for the law?
