Altogether, this was not that great of a day. I took the antibiotic when I woke up. An hour and some later I was ready for breakfast. That is preceded by the bp meds and happy pills I take.

Evidently, the first one did not get along with the regulars, and "rejected" them. I said the heck with even thinking about work, and took a nap. When I woke up I had a breakfast biscuit which stayed down quite contentedly. I have decided that 9 AM and 9 PM will be the antibiotic times. That's a good two hours after breakfast and supper.

I planned tentatively on getting my toes done in the afternoon, but when I got there they were really busy. Instead I got several storage items I needed, plus a sleeveless T on sale.

By then it was time to hit Arby's for supper. Problem--I didn't have a book with me. One can NOT dine alone bookless. (My emergency car books got drowned, along with the Rand/McNally and the phone book, when I got the water in the car a month or so ago.) I stopped at the used book store tucked away in a corner and came away with a Kathy Reichs novel set around the explosion and crash of an airliner filled with college kids.

Then I ate. While "dining" I heard several sirens--since it was about 5 PM I hoped it was just fender-benders among commuters.

Lady came in for dinner collarless. Luckily I had another one sitting around. This time I didn't put tags on it. She lost the first one because the tags got caught between the slats of one of the little bridges spanning ditches. The collar was plastic and old and stiff and broke. The second collar had a sliding adjustment--it may have loosened. I'll look around tomorrow. But that's why I skipped the tags on the new sparkly pink one--which had a little dog bone charm attached to it.

Next week should be a bit less hectic. At least I hope so.
