Today turned out to be quite productive. I decided to do yard work first thing, while my "front" yard was still mostly shaded. (duh) And I got all sorts of tall-growing things pulled up, as well as a bunch of foot-high green things. And, I removed several prospective blackberry bushes. I still have some tall stuff in the middle, but that can wait till it's shaded.

I think I've got a place to toss some flower seeds bought over the past couple of years. Some of them will probably "take." And/or I may plant some caladium bulbs, if they haven't rotted.

I worked for quite a while. I sat while I was weeding, but my back Did Not Hurt at all--and still doesn't, despite pushing a cart through WalMart for my weekly grocery shopping this afternoon. (The electric carts were all in use.)

After I'd cleaned up from the gardening I headed out for a bit, and my first stop was the nearest gas station! I probably had about a gallon left in the tank, which is good to remember.

Reading continues in Relic. Wow! is it ever a page-turner! I do not want to put it down. Fortunately, reading this evening will not take time from other household needs like cleaning or gardening.

I am getting excited about my upcoming trip to Rochester. I've saved the Intellicast link for Rochester and realilze that I should probably take a light sweater. Nighttime temps for the coming week start with a 6. (Nighttime temps here start with a 7.)

At the moment, my plans for tomorrow include some more earlyish morning weeding, followed by my second hair-washing in two days. I also have "Frontline cats" on my to-do list. That's a matter of managing to catch the rest of them after I do the first.

Tonight I shall probably sleep very well.
