2007-07-17 7:04 PM A "Me" Day Read/Post Comments (0) |
Not only was it a "me" day, but it also covered about the same mileage as a work day!
It started with a morning appointment with the chiropractor about 25 miles away. I got de-cricked and then headed back to Slidell to stop at the place that handles automotive title transfers to show them the Succession and that I really had the authority to sell not only my half of the Jimmy, but his. And to sign the paper saying that it was a donation. (That means no sales tax.) Next stop was Arby's for lunch. And then I headed back to WalMart (which I'd passed on the way back home from chiropractor) to get a pedicure. I think I was one of the younger clients in there this afternoon. And there was one guy-of-mature-years who was getting his feet done also. I rather imagine he passed on the nail polish. Before leaving WalMart I got some more And then back in the car to PJ's. The main road was already in gridlock, so I worked out an alternative route that didn't involve trying to go all the way down my street--which is blocked off during the day. I'm currently reading The Serpent and the Rose and made a lot of progress in it. (A friend sent it to me.) This time next week I will be where, according to Intellicast, the nighttime temperatures will be about 10 degrees lower than here. Read/Post Comments (0) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
