So far, nothing out of the ordinary on Woden's Day.

I realilzed that it takes me longer to get from my house to the south shore of the lake (about 13.5 miles) than the remaining 20+ miles to Tulane. Even with a significant slowdown on the exit to the street that goes from three lanes to one.

Whatever. I was early enough to unlock the building. I'd just finished when the secretary arrived and started checking that the other three doors had been unlocked. I had done those three too.

I'm beginning to make a bit of sense out of this person's files. I've got several "topics" getting sorted out so I'm going in tomorrow, when I'll be fresher about what I'm doing than if I wait till Friday. With luck, I'll get to a good stopping point by the end of the afternoon. If not, I'll go in Friday too so that when I return I don't have to spend half the day figuring out what goes where.

Have I mentioned that I like my job and I really like the workplace environment? It's very supportive, not to mention friendly.

We haven't had any showers today and it doesn't look like there will be any this evening. Rain is a mixed blessing--it lowers the temperature, but raises the humidity. And in many cases that humidity rise cancels out the comfort effects of the lower temperature.

One of these days I need to figure out what I'm going to wear/take to New York.
