Let's see--Tuesday we sort of bummed around town doing errands, including WalMart. I got some new shirts, then discovered when I got back to the house that I had very efficiently moved the shirts (and hair stuff) from the suitcase to the cupboard of the nightstand.

Oh well.

Yesterday we went to Niagra Falls. Wow!! They are truly impressive. We took the walk behind the falls. They give everyone plastic ponchos because that is not exactly a dry experience.

When we re-entered the U.S. they scanned our passports before letting us through. They also looked at passports as we entered Canada, but didn't run them.

I think today we're going to veg out. Eventually C. and I are going to the dog park so the dog can have a good run. He decided immediately that I was an OK person--maybe because I scritched his ears?

This "break" has been absolutely wonderful for me. It's the first travel since the Kenya trip in late 2005. Saturday is coming much too quickly.
