I think (hope) my body and mind are about settled into the new "schedule."

Today I didn't get over to Tulane until a bit after 10 AM but found a parking space really close to where I work. My ambulatory appartus was very glad of that. I'll have to try that particular time again on Monday and hope today wasn't a fluke.

Five of my Xavier students found my office after class (they followed me) to make up vocab quizzes. I just wrote myself a sticky note so I don't forget to print out the next vocab quiz for Monday.

And, once I got to the Newcomb library, I got a lot more work done. I think I have just one box (carton) left to organize, process, and re-file in, new acid-free file folders.

Susan said (I think) that she has some more political stuff for me after I finish the mandala lady.

The (Newcomb/Tulane) students are getting settled in, more or less, and there are several new faces working in the library. I keep learning bits and pieces of routine library stuff, such as checking out (and in) books. Today I was able to locate a book for a visiting professor of Latin American studies, and helped him find journals that are only in the women's library.

Today it did not rain. And I don't think it will tomorrow either.

Today there were no accidents to slow down the drive home. That was very good, because I had less than a quarter of a tank of gas left when I got home. I would have been extremely nervous if I'd been caught in a stop-and-slow. (I wonder if I have a can of that fake gas in the car. If not, that's on the weekend shopping list.)

Basically, today was a good day.
