Usually I "make groceries" Sunday morning. This week was different--I just got back from filling up the gas tank, refrigerator, and cupboards--plus laying in a supply of small dog biscuits for the raccoons.

Tomorrow I need to grade those paperlets. I'm pretty sure I don't have one from each student. That's their problem. Makes my grading faster.

I spent a fair amount of today puttering around and organizing clutter. I need to dump some cardboard boxes, newspapers, and a trash barrel full of weeds. Once the barrel is empty I'll have no excuse for procrastinating filling it up again.

It's amazing how much more I feel like doing--and doing it--now that the weather isn't so miserably hot and humid. I have my work schedule predictable and set up so I don't have big blocks of "dead" time--when there's not quite enough time to do something, but there's enough that I feel like I should be doing something.

And with most of the groceries put away, I think I shall read the Erica Spindler book that came the other day.
