I'm taking the meds and dripping goop into my ear. My temp is almost to "normal." But I'm feeling lousy again. I plan to go into Xavier, teach the class, then return home. And if I feel the same way tomorrow as I feel now, I'll give the doc another call.

Since tomorrow is Hallowe'en, and since people in this area tend to costume more or less, I'm definitely making it to school tomorrow. I wouldn't want to waste my bright orange t-shirt that says (in black) "I Don't Do Costumes."

Plus, I've got Halloween "goodies" for my students. I got a couple of bags of animal crackers--all in little bags.

Xavier students are really good about keeping their campus clean. Plus, they never know when one of the nuns is in the vicinity and will remind them "strongly" about letting a door slam, littering, etc.

And I see it's now time to find out if the world is still turning, although if it's about to end I would really expect that news to interrupt regular programming, followed by commentary from every TV face around the studio.

"The world will end at midnight--be sure to watch our team coverage tomorrow morning."
