The Saints beat Jacksonville quite definitively, I got a big bunch of weeding done (amazing how much more I can do when I'm not sweating myself into dessication), and--with luck--I'll get the fifteen (I think) paperlets that were turned in by the deadline graded by this evening's end.

The facial redness is not nearly as noticeable as it was a week ago. And the low-grade fever is gone. (I see the NP again this coming Wednesday.)

My grandson and his dad went to the game, and they sure had a good one to watch. As I write, they may still be up on the roof waiting for the other three levels of the parking garage to empty out. Somehow, unless the Saints were hopelessly behind, I don't think it would be possible to tear grandson away until the very end.

Lady supervised the weeding process. She chased weeds, then sat nearby watching me, knowing that she'd probably get petted. When I took a load out back, she accompanied me--trying to trip me only a couple of times.

So, all in all, it's been a good day. If I can get those papers graded, it will even better.
