That's the general subject of the archival files I'm currently processing. Timewise, it's the late eighties and the early nineties. The time when those people who wanted every fetus (even those created through rape or incest) to develop into a person--wanted that so badly they would kill for it.

Today there was some very interesting material by pro-choice churchgoers. I read just about everything that looks the least bit interesting--and today was no different. There were several pamphlets from almost every denomination that had members who were on both sides of the arguments, including Roman Catholic.

I put in a long day but managed to head for home at just the right time that I wasn't caught in any traffic pile-ups. I had gotten to work about 7:15. I've discovered that that is also a good time traffic-wise.

Now it's time to grade those paperlets. Most of them appear to be rather pitiful, at least at first glance. The two or three that I looked at halfway seriously show very little thought about the subject and come nowhere near answering the questions posed about the topic.

Oh well. It's not going to get done by 8 AM tomorrow if I don't get moving.

And I really do want to get some sleep tonight.
