2007-12-22 6:51 PM Another IUD Read/Post Comments (2) |
Yes, today was another one of those where the time passes, sometimes I do stuff, but there is little to mark it from other days, aside from a different date at the top of this page.
During my break I'm searching for my dining room table. I suspect that it's where it's supposed to be, but that location seems to have stacks of stuff on it. Today I tackled a bit more of it. There's a lot to go, but I don't go back to work till January 2, so I have plenty of procrastination space. I need to clean all but the 2006-7 stuff from my bills' filing area to make room for that stuff, which is currently on the table (of course). This afternoon I drowned all the weedings from the last time, as well as a big bunch of old newespapers, then started filling the trash container again. I got most of the tall stuff out of the parking area in front of the house. Then it got too dark to see well. I think I'll work on the far side yard while my neighbors are gone. That way they'll have a pleasant surprise when they return from Colorado. Tomorrow I just might send out some holiday cards. With the broken hip in 2005 I didn't get any sent. I bought some in 2006, but never quite got around to sending any. Probably some of the former card recipients figure that I either passed or disappeared in Katrina, but if I can get the cards out this year they'll find out otherwise. Tomorrow I should also plug away at the yard work, but I need to do a bit of shopping. (At this point, yard work sounds much more appealing.) Didn't I tell you at the start that it's been an IUD?
