My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Definitely a day for rest and relaxation. The university is closed till Jan. 2, so I have a stretch of uncommitted time.

My monster cat wanted extreme friendliness today, so I ended up as a cat bed for most of the morning. Unfortunately (or fortunately, as the case may be) as a bed I felt "obliged" to stay relatively still, and the best way to do that was to fall asleep.

After lunch I decided I needed to visit Walgreen's for pencils and Swiffer thingies. (And, as I recalled just in time, toilet paper.) So, I took my my latest geek book and PJ's gift card and spent a couple of hours there (PJ's) drinking a fantastic hot chocolate, followed by a coffee.

Not much goes on when the day is devoted to R & R.
