I generally make a to-do list for my days at home. Today was no exception.

I never get everything done, so it's really more of a think-about-doing-sometime list. BUT--today I got the biggies done, namely, the cat boxes. And I did some more pickup and tidying.

But the best part of the day was walking around without the cane (most of the time.) I'd almost forgotten how that felt.

Emma (the visiting cat) does not yet feel at ease, although she was showing herself a bit more. My girls have shown no aggression towards her. I suspect that their stay in the cat cottage at the shelter got them used to cats coming and going. And they would have been relegated to cages if they HAD been aggressive. Aggression would be too much work for Fabian.

I think my cheap toaster, bought maybe ten years ago, has bitten the dust. No matter what the setting, it burns the whatever. "Toaster" is at the top of my list for my next WalMart trip.

"Yard" is on my to-do list, but it's been too cold and/or rainy for that. So is "vacuum" and I'm getting at that little by little. My energy level has suddenly skyrocketed. Gee, I wonder why.

I expect that I'll have at least one cat on me tonight, just to let any visitors know to whom I belong.
