Out, in. Out, in. Out, in.
That's round one. All three of the females are using the little exit Emma created and popping in and out of the house. This is the first time CC has been going outside, so she doesn't stay out too long. At least two of them visit next door--I could hear T. talking to them the other day. This evening the raccoons came by quickly and polished off the dog biscuits as well as the uneaten dry cat food on the top step by the door. CC and Lady will end up inside the house for the night, with at least one of them draped over me. Emma hasn't done that. Yet. I worked on tidying the den somewhat today, as well as cleaning the porch cat box. Hooray. When I finished I rewarded myself by spending a couple of hours at PJ's. I am almost done with the book set in ancient India. For total mind candy I'm reading a Charlaine Harris mystery "starring" Aurora Teagarden. It's supposed to rain some tonight or tomorrow. I hope it's hard enough to wash the bird poops off the car. That's what comes of having all those wild cherry trees--which have really proliferated since Katrina. And being on the northbound flight path for migrating birds (like the robins) also contributes to it. In Florida the berries the robins ate were usually somewhat fermented, and we were "treated" to sight of drunken robins swooping here, there, and everywhere. I guess love bugs will be the next thing to gunk up cars. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
