Today was an unbelievably unremarkable day.

I did dull stuff around the house.

I took a bit of a nap.

I messed around on the computer, sharpening my memory skills. (Ning-po MahJong et al.)

The cat population drifted in and out. Emma now appears to consider this her residence, and the other cats don't have any problems with that. So I now have three cats yowling for dinner, and getting in my way. (Fabian just sits quietly with a forlorn expression on his face. Meowing takes too much effort.)

The boy(?) cat made his way onto the porch and had a few bites last night. When he heard me coming he zipped out the "cat door." He seems to be nice cat, except for the swellings under his tail. He's sort of fluffy so it's not as apparent as with a regular Domestic Short Hair.

YD just called and invited me over tomorrow. Her directions bear little resemblance to the MapQuest map. I'll stick with hers, double check when I enter (it's gated) and cross fingers.

Last night I put out the last of the watermelon leftovers. When I looked out later there was a possum enjoying himself. He had a sort of scarred area on his back, and I am wondering if it is the possum that I saw several months ago with what looked like a really bad wound on his hip. I figured he would probably succumb to it, but maybe he healed up fine, except for a nasty scar.

I forgot to toss out my apple cores the other day, so the wildlife will have a bit of a treat again this evening. I sort of keep hoping I'll find a semi-bad apple in the bags, but so far they have all been outstanding quality, and I have to eat them before they go out for the wildlife.

I continue to read Salam Pax and expect to finish it be the end of the weekend.

Don't say I didn't warn you that today was unbelievably unremarkable.
