This was my top priority today and right after lunch I headed out to WalMart and the nail place.

That is such a relaxing time--not only do they trim and polish the toenails, but they give a lovely leg massage. The person next to me was an interesting conversationalist, which was lagniappe.*

I just realized that the room has become quiet. Fabian woke up--therefore he is no longer snoring.

The visiting male cat seems quite determined to court my queens. I think he's living under the house. He's not sure whether or not he should be afraid of me.

After the toes, I did a bit of shopping and bought a bag of carrots to put out (a few at a time) for the raccoons and possum. They will be even happier tomorrow, because I usually eat three small apples with my sack lunch and I bring the apple cores home for them. (No, I don't spoil the indigenous wildlife.)

Shopping done, I got gas and utilized the drive-thru car wash. Not all of the wild cherry poops came off, but the general grime did. Guess I'd better plan on going to the really good carwash one of these days. Only problem is that I have so much "stuff" inside that it's hard for them to do the interior.

That stuff can wait till Friday, or possibly Thursday. I'm betting that the Center will likely shut down a bit early on Thursday. The students are on break.

And now for some mindless TV.

(*Lagniappe: a little something extra, with no charge. Something like the bakers' dozen of the northeast--thirteen donuts instead of only twelve.)
