I am SO tired, but I can't really figure out why.

Had a good night's sleep, then puttered around the house a bit.

Headed for PJ's and a couple of hours of serious reading, followed by grocery shopping.

While I was at PJ's my neighbor called me to say that if it was okay, she and her husband were going to look at my screen door. He's going to fix it.

VERY nice of him.

She also updated me on Emma, who has pretty much adopted their old dog and household. I kept reassuring her that this was fine with me.

Bottom line--he's going to fix the screen that's all torn out. This is really nice of him, and it will be nice to have the door working as a door. The cats have created another (more acceptable to me) exit.

My husband was always doing things for neighbors--what goes around comes around.

I am very lucky with next door neighbors.
