I accomplished very little today, but a lot got done.

To begin with, I vacuumed the porch, the living room, the dining room, and the kitchen. I cleaned the front porch cat box.

Then my neighbors came over and the man worked for about two hours re-screening my shredded screen door while his wife and I sat and gabbed.

For the first time since a bit after Katrina my front screen door opens and closes. We left the latest "cat door" intact, since all except Fabian the Flabulous use it. "All" means Lady, CC, and the occasional visitors, such as TomTom and a raccoon.

When the work was done, I "mentioned" that there was a fairly good collection of vehicle and household manintenance books in the garage.

Hooray!! eight or nine of them disappeared.

I didn't get any garden cleanup/lawn weeding done, but so what. I'll do that tomorrow.
