I just spent a couple of hours outside de-weeding the yard on the "far" side of the house. I need to saw a branch off a volunteer pine tree that settled in after Katrina. Said branch is tying to rub my power line. I may remove the entire tree. There's a new Chinese Tallow nearby which will give better shade without the threat to my electricity. (It's also a volunteer.)

While I was out there I had a call from my vet's wife. They'll be in Slidell tomorrow, but I told her I'd be at work. And anyway, CC is still acting a bit coy and I'm not sure I'd be able to keep her inside when I needed to.

On my right-after-this agenda is shower and wash hair. With the low humidity it will be dry by the time I go to bed.

I went to WalMart early this morning, and got an electric cart. It was nice to be able to meander and "shop," and I probably spent more than if I was schlepping around a push cart.

After a week of not going in, tomorrow will start rather early. Tonight is a two hour season finale of "Desparate Housewives", but I'll hit the sack right after it.

And the weather forecast is "clear" for about the next three days.
