I got off to an early start today and there were no unexplained traffic tieups. There were no traffic tieups at all.

And I unlocked the building door at 0650! Five minutes later the archivist appeared. I think she drives over early (she lives really close and can catch a Tulanae shuttle to get back here) to drop stuff off, then walks back home to walk the dog or something.

It was a productive day and I left a bit after 3 PM. That meant a minimum of traffic snarls on the way home.

Now that the storms have passed the weather has cooled off delightfully. Last night was an afghan and two cat night. Very cozy. And Pogo came in for his evening meal snack. The cats don't challenge him(?) and he doesn't challenge the cats.

And now for an evening of watching mindless TV and reading The Heretic Queen.
