But a productive one! I made substantial progress on the bazillion (give or take a googol) newspaper clippings about the LSU Athletic Department.

These are part of the file of the woman who sued LSU regarding tenure.

And the weather was drop dead gorgeous! Sunny, low humidity, and a pleasant almost-no-sweat temperature. I'm glad I'll be at home tomorrow.

It is so nice to look at the extended forecasts and see the highs in the mid-80s and the lows in the mid-60s. Needless to say, I had at least one cat all night. And Pogo or his friends had a feast during the night. I was only vaguely aware of the nom nom nom. This morning the dry food I'd set out was gone completely.

And I was very glad I gassed up yesterday--the price at the only resonably-priced station on my way to work was about 10 cents a gallon higher. We won't even discuss the prices the Shell station charges.

I also noted that both the new McDonald's and the Rally's on that road are open at 6 AM. And they are both on the "right" side of the street, if I ever want to grab a coffee on the way.

Tomorrow should be another gorgeous day--and I hope I have the energy needed for all the yard work.

(I feel very virtuous for having vacuumed yesterday!)
