I slept in a bit, then did this and that.

About lunchtime I took off.

First spot was a place to look for artificial greenery. I need some to put on the bare trunk of what was once a pretty fake tree, but which long ago lost its leaves. I've had the tree more than ten years, and it was a birthday gift from YD. (That was the year when husband COMPLETELY forgot about my birthday and couldn't figure out why YD was bringing over a gift.)

The artificial garlands currently falling off it date back to pre-Katrina. So, I was pleased to find some that were half price.

And then it was a leisurely lunch at Arby's, which was right across the street. I started reading about Celtic mythology while I ate.

When I got home I dozed off.

Eventually I woke up (obviously!) and did more nothing.

I need to get an early start tomorrow so I can make groceries early then watch the Saints game on TV. The ticket package is currently in a "message" box on the front fence, waiting for OGD to swing by and pick it up on her way to YD's to babysit. Or something like that.

Maybe tomorrow will move up the scale and be Somewhat Unremarkable.
