"Let Deuce Loose" was the key phrase for today's Saints game.

Deuce McAllister had off-season surgery and had not yet returned to play, even though he dressed out last week.

But today he DID play, and extremely well. And the Saints had a convincing victory.

I saw only the second half.

I got up early to get groceries etc. Ran into OD's husband doing the same, except his stuff looked a LOT more pet-related.

When I got home I put most of the stuff away, then settled on the couch to watch the pre-game show.

I woke up about five minutes into the second half.

The second half was highly stisfactory, with the Saints winning solidly.

Other than that, it was an IUD.

I am currently reading a Carrie Vaughan book I spotted at WalMart. Can't recall the title at the moment, but it's a new one in her series about the woman who is a lycanthrope. The title sounded sort of familiar, but it's a 2008 copyright date so I know I haven't read it. Did you know that female lycanthropes cannot have children? The fetus can't handle the monthly shape-shifting.

Between the naps and the football games I got almost nothing done with the house and yard. I think I shall stay home tomorrow and make up for that. My N.O. days this week will be Wed. and either Thurs. or Fri.

The cooler fall weather is SO nice. Of course the cats want extra cuddling time. I guess their fur coats aren't as warm as they look. On the other hand, they might figure that humans need their body heat because feline normal temperature is about two degrees above human.

Whatever.
