I got up early and was at WalMart for weekly groceries before 7:15. Aside from my electric cart quitting in the middle of the store, it was uneventful.

After I got home and put away the perishables, I relaxed for a few minutes on the couch.

And woke up about three hours (or more) later, with a cat curled up on me. (Remember, sleeping cat brain waves reinforce human "resting the eyes" brainwaves.)

So much for the rest of the morning. I can't remember when I've had that long of a "sinking spell"!

After reviving I went to PJ's to get some quality geek reading done. I'd called in a couple of prescription renewals to the adjacent Walgreen's, planning on picking them up on the way home, but there were four cars ahead of me in the drive-thru line, so I headed home.

I guess I'll do yard work tomorrow.

Temperature outside is more than a bit on the brisk side, so the front door is fully closed. I didn't forget my marsupial friends however, and left a big dish of dry food out on the porch for them. So far, they haven't figured out the flap door.
