With luck, I have caught up on sleep.

I managed to doze off in mid-morning, and then again right after lunch, although I set the timer so I didn't sleep away the entire day.

Morning accomplishments included updating the checkbook--which is actually more of tally of debit charges.

This afternoon, once I had come completely alive, I headed for PJ's with a very promising book that arrived the other day. I don't recall ordering it, but if anybody recommended The Apocalypse Door, by James D. Macdonald, to me--I thank you heartily. It was great!!! I spent the entire afternoon at PJ's reading and I finished the book. It's short--just over 200 pages.

I shall be checking out others he has written.

Yard work had been on my agenda for today, but fortunately it rained off and on in the morning and it was still sprinkling when I left for PJ's.

Maybe tomorrow will be better.

But if it's not, I'm sure I can find something I "need" to read.
