No, not the Santa kind, but the inventory lists for the five cartons of files that I have just finished processing. I brought the inventories home because it's easier to type them up at home.

I finally finished the five lists. Each has from forty to eighty files in it. I e-mailed the five lists to the archivist--that's the simplest (and most efficient) way to get them from my PC to her Apple.

Tomorrow I'll go in to work, put the inventory lists in each carton, and then I'll be done with that particular collection. Two cartons are missing their acid-free lids, but that's not my problem.

I made an early run to WalMart this morning, then left the car with the mechanic for a bunch of little (but not-cheap) stuff. It's running really nicely now, and I can even control the air temperature and mix and which vents put out what.

I currently have two cats keeping me company in my office room. Both are, of course, asleep.

Oh--this morning Lady bounced in and onto me as I was waking up. No dead mouse this time--just VERY cold feet. Given a choice, I'll take the mouse.

I need to get some gift lists made for fmaily members. I ordered a meerkat family (stuffed toys) for YGD. It was a "bonus" for the World Wildlife Fund--which I already suuport. The mob consists of mother, father, and three children. I alerted her mother to the need for YGD to watch Meerkat Manor a bit before Xmas.

Tomorrow morning is come awfully early--haven't been in to N.O. in about a week.

Another IUD.
