Another IUD.

No trace of yesterday's snow, except for pictures in the paper.

The man who picks up my trash came by for his semi-annual payment and we chatted a bit. He's now on the lookout for a carpenter type who can help with my wood veneer wall panels which, after 44 years, are in the process of separating veneer from backing.

As he left he grabbed the half bag of trash I had not yet moved to the front of the house. I think I have weekly pickup (rather than twice-weekly) and there are times when it takes me longer than a week to fill up a barrel.

I spent the better part of the afternoon at PJ's reading about gender and archaeology.

What an exciting life I lead.
