My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

Today's sermon was on the subject of humor--and at the end there was a UU jokefest with various members telling jokes about UUs. These were not spontaneous, but had been handed out as we arrived.

Needless to say, everyone left with smiling faces.

Since the IRS no longer sends me forms, I spent most of the afternoon downloading those I need. Such fun. NOT. At the moment I am promising myself that I will have my extension form in the mail tomorrow. That's about ten days early!

And one of my daughter's high school friends FINALLY called me by first name. Ye gads--she's over 40!

So, I have my evening's "amusement" all ready. I plan to go in to work tomorrow, so I'd better not stay up too late--not if I want a great parking spot!
