It took me almost forever to get to sleep last night, so I woke up a bit later than usual. Not a lot, but a bit.
I spent the rest of the morning doing this and that, while making sure the cat was getting enough petting. I fed the cat(s) a bit early then headed down to Arby's for supper and some reading. Her Majesty (aka CC) wasn't sure she wanted the flavor of cat food on today's menu. The other half of the can went out on the porch, and Stripe found it VERY good. He's gotten to the point that he won't run off the porch when I appear, but will stay on the part outside the screen door (and the hole in the screen that is the critter access and egress.) And as soon as I have gotten about three feet inside the house he's busy eating that yummy canned cat food. Tomorrow I MUST get back to the yard work. This afternoon I finally decided on a new cane. I have several, including one that folds up. And that is the handiest for travelling. But I like to more or less color-coordinate with what I'm wearing. And--there's always the possibility (remote I hope) that one of the folding ones might break. I've been looking through a marvelous place online, and finally decided on one in brown tones. (My other folding one is black.) This place has a wide variety of styles, and an even wider variety of colors and designs--not to mention prices. (There are a couple with cats, and a bunch with flowers.) I didn't get a whole lot done today, but after that really lousy night's sleep I didn't have the eneergy. Tomorrow should be more productive.
