My Incredibly Unremarkable Life

How true!

What did I do today? Mostly "stuff." Some organizing, some tidying, but also some list-making.

Tomorrow will be a doozy: dr. appointment in Slidell at 8:15, and then appointment in New Orleans at 3 PM.

One huge advantage to a dr. appt. at that hour is that, unless he's gotten tied up in surgery, there's very little wait time. And he probably doesn't schedule early appointments on surgery days. At least I hope so!

After lunch I went up to the PJ's and "set free" the latest J. D. Robb, which I finished a while ago. I put it on top of a basket of magazines.

About halfway through my "stay" a couple of teenagers came in with what was probably a parent. One girl spotted the book, and I could hear her reading the little blurb inside that explains the whole thing. Then she leafed through the pages a bit, and finally walked back to the person at the counter and asked if it was really okay to just take the book. As she returned to her seat she had a big smile on her face. I'll bet she'll following the link to read more about bookcrossings.com.

I think I mentioned that I'm taking the entire week off from work. With luck I'll get maybe a third caught up on stupid stuff needing doing. Today did not contribute much to the catching up.
