It rained long enough that I lost interest in the yard work--besides, after rain stops the humidity is sky high for a while.

I allowed myself to catch a few zzz's and then went out for a bite of supper. (At Arby's--where else?)

I grabbed an unread book--the latest Stephanie Plum--as I left the house, and quickly got into the "plot."

I shall probably continue reading it this evening.

Tomorrow I see the lawyer and sign the updated will. I hope it doesn't rain for the commute, although I'll let YD do the driving. Her car is currently in the car hospital. (Her husband has a "company car" so they aren't totally sans wheels.)

CC has been incredibly cuddly today. Her new "bed" is immediately to the left of my keyboard. Of course, every time she stretches the keyboard shifts a bit to the right, and it will soon knock the mouse off the table. But from CC's perspective, it's a great spot--lots and lots of petting, as long as I'm there.

I think the rain has let up for the evening. It certainly has cooled things off nicely.

It should be a good night for sleeping.
